We are now keen to hear from senior, experienced and aspirational lawyers who are looking for the next challenge in their professional career.

Our corporate finance team, which has been described as "excellent and upstanding" by Legal 500, advise companies and their stakeholders who are implementing a growth strategy, via acquisition or merger, or whose objective is to realise shareholder value, by a disposal of all or part of their business.

Additionally our team offers specialist sector experience, including in the following areas: food and drink, IT and software, recruitment and training, financial services, manufacturing and distribution, and healthcare.

Working closely with others in a collegiate and supportive environment, you can take a lead role on a broad range of transactions, which may include mergers and acquisitions; corporate re-organisations; joint ventures; structured lending and general corporate advice.

As a senior member of our team, we also want you to help grow and develop our business further, so you will be able to use your business development and networking skills to build sustainable relationships with clients and external professionals.

You will need to be an experienced lawyer, ideally with at least 5 years PQE.  You will also need to have proven expertise in all aspects of corporate matters.  This is likely to mean that you have handled large, complex transactions, and that you will have extensive experience of advising on significant joint ventures and most aspects of corporate governance.

This means you must be able to demonstrate well established drafting skills and be able to explain complex legal matters in a clear, relevant and concise way.  You must be able to engage with clients, to act as their trusted advisor.

It is essential that you are people-focused, approachable and keen to assist with the development of others.  Team fit is therefore vital.  You will also need to be personable, possess sound judgment, an analytical mind and a confident approach.

If you have experience in mid-market and large corporate transactions and are keen to work alongside our quality team of corporate lawyers then please get in touch.  We can offer you a successful and thriving practice, with high quality work and a great team of people around you, to help you achieve your career ambitions.
