QCAS Administration Assistant

We are currently looking to appoint a QCAS Administration Assistant on a casual contract basis including weekday evening hours.

Our QCAS unit provides specialist volume conveyancing services to the leading businesses in the UK lending, estate agency and house-building industries. We use the latest technology, combined with a commitment to delivering excellent service, to ensure speed and value for our clients and their customers.
 
Now, due to our increasing volumes of work, we are looking for reliable and motivated people to join our evening team of administration assistants.

HOURS OF WORK

There are no fixed or guaranteed hours of work, though our evening team generally provide cover on weekday evenings (Monday – Thursday) between 5:00pm and 9:00pm.

This means that these roles could be easily combined with family commitments or whilst studying at college or university.

We are however, looking for candidates who can usually commit to working at least two evenings per week.

THE ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This is an excellent opportunity to develop office experience in a busy and demanding environment.

The key purpose of the role itself is to provide effective administrative support to our team of Remortgage Caseworkers and Transactional lawyers and assistants.

All the roles are broadly similar in that they will involve a variety of tasks, such as recording incoming post onto the case management system as well as making outbound calls to request other outstanding documentation. You will need to enjoy working in a busy target-driven environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You must be able to demonstrate a keen and eager work ethic and be a reliable team player. Whilst previous administrative or office-based experience would be useful it is not essential, as training will be given.

You must also be adaptable and able to learn new tasks quickly as well as being able to work independently. 

You will need to be able to complete tasks in an accurate and efficient manner and be comfortable working to strict deadlines and within Service Level Agreements. A careful and methodical approach to work is essential, with the ability to adhere to strict processes at all times.

You must be comfortable in using IT packages although training on our specific systems will be provided. Excellent communication skills are essential, both verbally and in writing as is a strong commitment to client care.
