Emma specialises in all aspects of corporate and company law, having qualified at Addleshaw Goddard. Emma has held senior positions at respected national and regional practices and joined Shulmans’ growing corporate team as a partner in early 2014.
Over the past 14 years Emma has acted for clients across virtually all business sectors, but has a particular specialism in acting for businesses in the food and drink sector, whether in respect of their M&A activity, commercial matters or acting for investors.
Chambers & Partners has described Emma as having “excellent awareness of business matters”, whilst Legal 500 has referred to her as being “technically strong” in her field. Emma is listed as a 'recognised practitioner' in her field in the latest edition of the Chambers & Partners directory.

She advises a broad range of clients, from large national and international corporates and private equity/venture capital-backed businesses, through to family-owned SMEs, early-stage ventures and management teams.
Emma also has extensive knowledge of advising on group re-organisations and de-mergers, joint ventures and company law procedures, as well as providing legal support to both lenders and borrowers on debt and mezzanine facilities and associated security and intercreditor arrangements.
