These instructions will include Transfers of Equity, Deeds of Postponement, Restrictions, Shared Ownership and Staircasing and other similar technical work as it arises.
The role will require you to carry out title investigation work and identification checks, conduct the appropriate searches, process the completion and attend to post completion matters to ensure the client’s charge is secured as a first legal charge.
As an experienced caseworker, you will also be expected to coach and support others, offering them technical advice and assistance as it is needed.
Skills and experience
You must have proven technical experience of dealing with each part of the remortgage process and be able to deal routinely with the more challenging aspects of remortgage work.
A calm and methodical approach is essential. You should be experienced in achieving monthly completions targets whilst maintaining a high quality standard of work. You should be used to working to tight deadlines and of working within Service Level Agreements.
Excellent organisational and IT skills are essential and previous experience of using a case management system is also important.
You must have a professional approach to work and enjoy a busy workload. It is also important to demonstrate a strong commitment to client care, customer service and possess excellent communication skills.
