The team, which has been described as "excellent and upstanding" by Legal 500, advise companies and their stakeholders who are implementing a growth strategy, via acquisition or merger, or whose objective is to realise shareholder value by a disposal of all or part of their business.
Additionally they offer specialist sector experience, including in the following areas: food and drink, IT and software, recruitment and training, financial services, manufacturing and distribution, and healthcare.
Your role, will be to provide efficient and effective support across our corporate group, supporting them across the breadth of their client responsibilities.
You will help prepare and file Companies House forms, as well as prepare stock transfer forms, liaising with HMRC as necessary.
You will also be responsible for completing routine completion documents and writing up and maintaining companies’ statutory books and records.
Finally, there are the inevitable routine administrative tasks such as conducting appropriate legal research and providing general ‘hands on’ assistance with client files etc.
Proven experience and/or a good understanding of corporate finance and transactional work are important requirements for this role.
We are looking for someone with good commercial acumen who can relate to businesses, their environments, their markets etc.
To be successful, you must possess excellent personal organisation and time-management skills and be capable of assessing priorities and juggling multiple tasks and objectives effectively.
You must be an excellent communicator, willing to ask questions and clarify your understanding. It is essential that you are a team player.
It will also be important for you to be able to demonstrate a flexible, adaptable and ‘can do’ attitude as much of the work undertaken by our Corporate team is time critical and deadline-driven.
You may not always work standard business hours so a flexible approach is required.
