Our expanding Business Development (BD) team plays a key role within the firm, helping us to ensure we provide an excellent service to our clients.
They are responsible for providing a wide-range of support to our partners, lawyers, managers and colleagues, from strategic projects such as targeting core commercial work, key account marketing, through to developing and running our marketing programme which includes PR, advertising, sponsorship, events, directories, awards, website, social media, collateral, newsletters etc.
We now have an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a busy and fast-paced team, where they will gain experience in most aspects of business development work within a law firm.
This supportive role will mean you become involved in a wide range of business development activities, helping the other members of the BD team in the process.
From ensuring that events run smoothly by booking the resources needed, you will also be responsible for supporting with the design of adverts and materials for promotions.
You will be responsible for maintaining our website, ensuring content is up-to-date, that is in the firm’s house style and that it is accurate.
To be successful in this role, you will need to show a creative side, together with excellent written communication skills. Proven IT skills are essential.
You must be professional and extremely organised, with an accurate, methodical and proactive approach to your work.
Your communication skills and personal impact must be impressive, as you will be expected to work with partners, colleagues and others outside the firm, at all different levels, both in person and in writing. Accuracy and attention to detail are both essential skills.
You should have proven experience in an administrative role and be able to demonstrate you can support a busy team. Previous experience within a Business Development or marketing team would be an advantage.
