Alan joined Shulmans' commercial dispute resolution team in 2007 to specialise in commercial property litigation, having formerly been head of property litigation at a large firm in the North East.
Alan has a national reputation with recommendations in the Legal 500 and in Chambers Directory, in which Alan has been quoted as the “star of the show” and as being “ thorough and professional”.
He acts for institutional landlords, investors, developers, housebuilders and leisure, retail and industrial occupiers. He specialises in all areas of commercial property management and property dispute resolution but with particular emphasis on landlord and tenant, development and generally all issues surrounding the owning, developing and occupying of commercial premises.
Alan is member of the Property Litigation Association. He likes walking and fly fishing but only if the weather is good.
