Ian Dawson
Head of commercial
Ian joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 1991. After qualifying in 1993, he became a Partner in 1999.
Now head of commercial services, Ian is an employment lawyer with experience in commercial work. In particular, Ian has experience in handling termination situations – frequently including shareholders and directors.
Ian is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and successfully acted for Peter Bottrill in the reported Court of Appeal decision, Secretary of State for Trade & Industry -v- Bottrill [1998] IRLR 120.
A keen sportsman, Ian plays tennis and football and also enjoys running and circuit training.
