Shulmans at the forefront of law enforcement
Shulmans' Debt Recovery and Commercial Dispute Reslution (CDR) teams have been working on a landmark case for the court service, which is the first case of its kind in the country since the Proceeds Of Crime Act was introduced in 2002.
The case is being watched very carefully by the powers that be to see, if it is successful, whether similar action can be taken on a number of other cases and this places Shulmans' Debt Recovery and CDR teams at the forefront of advising in a new and important area of activity for the law enforcement agencies.
The South Yorkshire Police have issued a press release which can be read from this link:
Shulmans' Debt Recovery Manager Jon Tullock says “The police press release mentions various actions that have taken place including obtaining the order for sale, obtaining the warrant for possession and dealing with the sale. These were either obtained by us or we are dealing with the them in detail.”
