Shulmans property team recognised at Yorkshire Lawyer awards

The property team at Leeds-based Shulmans solicitors have won the Real Estate award at the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards – the first time in five years that this award has been made to a team, rather than an individual.

Cited in Legal 500 as one of the UK’s top firms for residential property work, Shulmans also has one of the top commercial development teams in the region.

Last year its property lawyers handled £2.3bn of secured lending for banks; plot sales of £300m for housebuilders and £185m of commercial property transactions.  Client names include Evans Property Group, Barratt, Persimmon, Bellway, Crosby Lend Lease, St James Securities and Landmark.
