Excellence in Business Awards
We were delighted to be one of the four finalists in the Best Employer Category at the 2007 Yorkshire Post Business Excellence Awards, presented by the Right Honourable William Hague at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on 18th October 2007.
The judges said that they had found it very difficult to choose a winner from the four finalists and described all four finalists, including Shulmans, as "world class employers".
In the same awards in 2008, Shulmans again did well, being shortlisted for the finals. At the awards ceremony on 17th October 2008, hosted by, David Cameron, Shulmans were among a group of businesses described by the judges as having "demonstrated excellent practice and genuine employee engagement" in the Best Company to Work For category.
