Susan has over 10 years experience in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious construction law. In addition, Susan is experienced in drafting and negotiating all types of industry standard forms of Building Contracts including JCT, NEC, ICE and FIDIC.
She acts primarily for developers in relation to the preparation of building contracts, appointments, warranties, bonds and guarantees.
In addition, she also represents a number of Yorkshire based contractors and sub-contractors in relation to contract disputes and provides an adjudication service to clients at short notice. She also provides construction advice and dispute resolution services to private individuals in relation to residential buildings.
Susan is dual qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales and a qualified Attorney in the Turks and Caicos Islands, British West Indies and has worked in London, Manchester and Leeds as well as internationally.
Susan is a member of Kings College Construction Law Association (“KCCLA”), Technology and Engineering Construction Solicitors Association (“TECSA”), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (“CIARB”) and a former Chair of Women in Property (“WIP”) and a member of The Society of Construction Law (“SCL”).

Susan enjoys travel both nationally and internationally and going to the theatre.
