As head of commercial dispute resolution, Richard is involved in all aspects of dispute resolution work and is a member of the management board. Richard is the partner responsible for the firm’s quality systems, which not only help Shulmans achieve the Investors in People Award and the Law Society Lexcel standards, but more importantly underpin the practical and commercial advice Shulmans give to their clients. Alongside his other areas of practice, Richard has developed a high level of expertise in road transport work, which includes work up to the House of Lords (now the Supreme Court) for which he is noted in the Legal 500 as “a recognised expert”.

Richard has a keen and active interest in sports, especially hockey and cricket.
