John trained in the City at Macfarlanes and came to Leeds in 1983. Since then he has been a well known figure in Leeds property circles. He joined us from Gordons where he was a leading property partner. He acts for a wide range of respected regional developers including Keyland, the Gregory Group and Henry Lax. John also does extensive property investment and portfolio management work, including syndicated schemes and offshore investment. John has a strong background in retail property.

Outside the office John's main interests are long distance trekking and sailing.
