Ian is an employment specialist with particular expertise in directors' and shareholders’ disputes. Ian is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and the Industrial Law Society. Notable reported cases include the Court of Appeal decision, Secretary of State for Trade and Industry v Bottrill [2000] 1 AER 915, Oakland v Wellswood (Yorkshire) Limited EAT 1801765/2008 and Sturdy v Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust ET 1803960/2007.
