Described in Chambers' 2011 directory as an "affable but forceful character". Andrew advises on corporate finance and banking transactions within a wide cross-section of businesses. Andrew also has specific experience of the IT and software industry. He has advised on numerous management buy-outs and management buy-ins, mergers, reorganisations, joint ventures and company acquisitions and disposals. He is a former member of the Regional Industrial Development Board for Yorkshire, Humber and East Midlands. More recently, Andrew has been involved in, and has advised in relation to turnarounds and insolvency restructuring and has acted for administrators in pre-pack sales and plans for buyers out of administration.
Chambers directory has said of Andrew's team "this highly skilled team is able to do near impossible jobs overnight".
Andrew has made presentations on company law issues in the UK including a presentation to judges and law students at the University of Buenos Aires.

Andrew lives in Ilkley and in his spare time enjoys golf, cycling, tennis, running and skiing.
