We’re delighted to announce that we have made two appointments to our Debt Recover team in response to increased demand from businesses for such a service.

Andrew Wilson, 43 from Bradford and Lee Scott, 36 and from Leeds, join us bringing with them a wealth of experience, Andrew’s gained in legal practices such as Eversheds, Addleshaw Goddard and most recently Milners, where he was debt recovery manager, and Lee’s most recently at Drydens, where he was a debt recovery executive.

Jon Tullock, our head of Debt Recovery services said: “Clients are tightening up their debt recovery procedures and this has led the department receiving increased instructions last year. Our policy of delivering bespoke debt recovery strategies is one that clients have welcomed with open arms.

“I am delighted to welcome Andrew and Lee to the team as they are great additions, particularly as our work stream in not only debt recovery but pre-legal and insolvency work increases.”

Both Andrew and Lee have acted for a broad range of clients, and both are known for their constructive and flexible approach. Lee, who has a loyal following which has boosted the department’s client base said: “The Commercial Debt Recovery Department at Shulmans is highly regarded so I am delighted to be joining them.”

Andrew, who has taken up the role of debt recovery technical expert and has over 20 year’s industry experience, added: “I am very pleased to be part of such a forward-thinking firm and also one that is growing apace.”
